How is roulette played?
Of all Casino Games, whether Casino or Online Casino, Roulette is the easiest to learn and play. Most people are familiar with the Game and how it works, while the majority of those who do not know how it is played recognize the Game’s overall look and wheel. So, for those of you who do not know how roulette is played, here’s a quick guide on how to play Roulette.
The core of every Roulette Table is the Wheel. The roulette wheel usually consists of 36 numbers from 1 to 36, alternating in black and red, moving around the wheel. Either there is also a single green ‚0‘ or a green ‚0‘ and a ’00 ‚, which depends on which variant you play, whether at a European or American Roulette Table.
For each Game the Wheel is turned and a ball is sent around the edge of the Roulette Wheel in the opposite direction on the journey. Held by gravity, after some time both the wheel and the ball slow down so that the Ball comes to rest on the Wheel at some point. The Ball will fall into a notch above any number from 1 to 36 or the green ‚0‘ or ’00‘. This result then determines who the winner of the Game is.
At the roulette table, you will be presented with a number of betting options. The betting section contains a grid numbered 1 through 36 filled with ‚0‘ and ’00‘, if available, the numbers themselves are the same as those on the roulette wheel.
Players can bet on different numbers within the grid, as well as betting on which color (red or black) the ball will drop when the Roulette Wheel stops. In addition, the player may place individual bets on more than one number so that he has many possible numbers that could lead him to profit. See the Roulette bets and odds section for an informative description of the various bets available at the Roulette Table.
Of course, some bets are more likely to apply than others, meaning that the payout is increased or decreased. Depending on what the odds are for a particular bet. For example, a bet on a number like 36 is far less likely to win than a bet on the color red. Nearly half of the results of each spin will turn red (not to mention the extra green `0` on the wheel) )
Therefore, the payout for choosing the right number (35: 1) is much higher than choosing the right color (1: 1) from each spin.

The odds are displayed at a roulette table in the form 35: 1, 17: 1, 8: 1 and so on. These numbers dictate how much each bet wins when they win bets. In general, the bigger the odds, the more money you will win when your number (or color) comes.
For example, with 35: 1 odds on a number, you win 35 times the amount of bet you made. So if you placed $ 1 on the number 16 and the Roulette Ball landed at the # 16 score on the wheel, you would win $ 35 on your first $ 1 bet, which would be $ 36 in total.
Likewise, if you bet $ 5 instead of $ 1 and your number has dropped, the amount you win would be 35 times bigger than the bet you placed with your original $ 5. You would get $ 180 back for a total of $ 180.
These big wins make Roulette an exciting and entertaining game. Mixed with the fact that roulette is very easy to learn, you will often find that Roulette is one of the most popular Games in a Casino.
